The seats on the bikes are called semi seating, they tend to resemble a chairs that you normally sit in. The pedals are traditionally set up in the front of the bike and you are able to choose the resistance and the distance of the pedals so your workout is as comfortable as possible.

People that have back problems may especially want to consider purchasing a recumbent bike, because the reclined seat eases the stress on the lower back.Working out on recumbent bikes has been known to help lower your blood pressure and it has also been shown to improve a person’s heart rate.

Bikes aren’t cheap, but you may able to find an amazing deal on one by searching online or in local stores that sale exercise equipment.
